Day 0 — Shinkansen in

• Tokyo → Echigo-Yuzawa; check last buses to your hotel.
• Rent early Saturday if shops close early Sunday.

Day 1 — Main ski day

• Ski the closest reliable hill first.
• Watch avalanche and wind notes; stick to marked runs on a short trip.

Day 2 — Second session or pivot

• Morning ski, then return with buffer.
• Flat snow / ice: town food day (okramen.net) or a quick onsen (okonsen.net).
